公元前221年秦始皇灭了六国，为了统一全国的度量衡所发出的诏书，刻在一片片由铜、木、陶所制成的薄薄诏版上，颁发给各地使用，内容在于说明度量衡的标准，相传最早的诏版为李斯所写。

Standard Measurement Units
In BC221, Qin Shi Huang became the first emperor of the unified China. In an effort to unite the country, he ordered his officials to make Edict Plates with standardised measurement units. The materials used to make these plates include bronze, wood and clay. It is believed that the earlier batches of plates were written by Li Si, the premier of the Qin.
